Nileshwar or Nileshwaram (In Malayalam) is the short form of Neelakanta Isharan. It was historically the base point of Neeleshwaram Rajahs. Nileshwaram referred as the cultural capitol of Kasaragod, the north end district of Kerala. There are lot of unexplored villages and people are strongly embraced with their unique culture and traditions.Nileshwar is the perfect holiday destination for those who wish to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life while discovering new experiences and cultures.
Poothali is situated in a small village called Ananthanpalla, where most of the villagers are directly or indirectly associated with farming. Once you enter Poothali, you leave one world behind and step seamlessly into another. From Village walks and cultural trails to Beach explorations and Theyyam Experiences.

Poothali is well connected and is just a short flight away. The nearest airports are Mangalore and Kannur. Nileshwar is also easily accessible by road & Rail. The distances are as follows –

Mangalore Airport to Poothali – 92 kms
Kannur Airport to Poothali – 82 kms
Neeleshwar Railway station – Poothali – 6 kms
Kanhangad Railway Station – Poothali – 8 kms

Yes, Being a village,better avoid short length dresses. Especially while going for village activities and theyyam performances short and sleevless dresses are not advisable
We are fully prepared to handle medical emergencies should they arise. We have First Aid Kits at hand. Should the need arise, we are fully equipped to take you to the nearest hospital. The nearest hospital to Poothali is 4 km away. In case you require any specific medication, you are requested to carry them with you as the nearest medical shop 2 kms away.
We offer complimentary food for all drivers. Also we provide toilet and wash room facilities for their basic needs, but being a property with 3 rooms, we don’t have a separate room facility for them.
We provide bicycles for your kids, where they can explore nearby villages.
Yes,We allow the pets too,but resting/sleeping mats for your pets needs to be carried by you

No, but we arrange taxis as per your requirements. We do have a team that arranges village activities, house boat cruises and land-based travel.
